Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19
We are closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak via the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Arizona Department of Health Services (AZDHS) and the World Health Organization (WHO), and our hospital affiliates. The virus and protocols around it are changing quickly, and we at Geoffrey E. Leber MD, PC and Leber Skin & Laser Center are working to mitigate any impact on our doctor, staff and patients.
OUR RESPONSIBILITY
We are taking precautions necessary throughout the practice. We have been using medical-grade sanitizing wipes for our workstations, counters, waiting room and exam room furniture/equipment continuously throughout the day and will continue to do so. Our physician, medical assistant, injection nurse and aesthetician are committed to washing their hands thoroughly before and after each patient as well as wearing gloves. Gloves will be available for your use in the waiting room at your request. Our office staff have also been educated as to the importance of following CDC guidelines for mitigating viral risk and promote prevention in the workplace. Again, this is an evolving situation and we will take all possible and necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our patients and staff. As we continue to monitor this new pandemic, we will update you via our website.
